BRIAN DACCORD is a former goaltending coach of the Boston Bruins. Brian was on the staff of Stanley Cup winning coaches Pat Burns and Mike Keenan as well as Robbie Ftorek. Brian’s book Hockey Goaltending has sold over 30,000 copies worldwide and he was featured in the Hockey News as one of the NHL’s top goalie coaches with “crease clout”. His current clients include top NHL, AHL, ECHL, College and Junior goalies. Brian operates Stop It Goaltending, which conducts goalie camps and clinics, as well as private training sessions for youth and elite goaltenders. Brian is also a former coach and player at Merrimack College (NCAA Div.I Hockey east) and played seven seasons of pro hockey in Switzerland. He has coached at every level of youth hockey as well as US Prep School, Junior, College and Pro, is a Masters Level Coach with USA Hockey, and holds a Masters Degree in Sports Science. Brian is also the Director of the Goaltending Consultant Group made up of many of the top goalie coaches across North America. He is joined by other GCG consultants on the “Between the Pipes with Brian Daccord” segment of the “Inside Hockey” show aired weekly on XM Satellite and Sirius Radio.
